PRINTMAKING

An opportunity to try out a variety of printmaking processes in one week. You will learn about mono printing, making collagraphs and using drypoint etching to develop your own photographs or drawings. This is a very technique-orientated medium and demonstrations will be given throughout the process.

Printmaking is a fantastic medium for developing images, experimenting with different compositions and colours. You will learn how visual ideas can be explored in greater depth and end the week with a sequence of prints that demonstrate your own creative process. We will also look at how printmakers of the past have used the medium to their own advantage.

The course will be held at Seek Studio and is limited to four students.
